Vaginoplasty
Many women experience changes in the vaginal structure and response after childbirth, or as part of the aging process. Vaginoplasty or Vaginal rejuvenation could be a surgical procedure or a non-surgical procedure that utilizes laser. Both procedures help to tighten vaginal muscles in order to improve the appearance and size of the vaginal opening. The primary goal of vaginal rejuvenation will be to enhance sexual fulfillment for the patient. This is done by tightening the vaginal muscles according to the specifications given by the patient and by minimizing the internal and external diameter of the vagina.
Vaginoplasty Surgical Procedure
The vaginal rejuvenation surgical procedure entails removing additional vaginal tissue using a scalpel under local anaesthesia. Our plastic surgeon will make small incisions inside the vaginal area to join the loose muscles and shorten them. The vaginal opening will also be tightened. All incisions are then closed with dissolvable threads. The surgery normally takes less than one hour.
Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Procedure
The laser vaginal rejuvenation is a non –surgical treatment that restores and restructures the vaginal tissue without the use of anaesthetic. Our doctors utilize a controlled laser beam, implementing concentrated thermal heating to the inner layers of the vaginal tissue. The heat causes contraction of collagen and elastin and allows for long-term change by excitement regeneration of these essential proteins. Most patients report no pain after undergoing a laser vaginal rejuvenation process.
Vaginoplasty results in increased friction during intercourse that often enhances sexual satisfaction.
Labioplasty
Excessive or uneven development of the labia can be a great source of embarrassment and even discomfort for some women. A woman with overly large labia may experience pain during intercourse, pain when sitting or difficulty using tampons, and even discomfort when walking or running. This problem is easily corrected with a relatively minor procedure called Labioplasty.
Labioplasty Procedure
Labioplasty is a relatively minor operation that is performed in the clinic. Minor cases can be performed under local anaesthetia or freezing. During the operation, a small amount of labia tissue is carefully removed in order to correct the patient’s problem. Plastic surgery techniques are then used to complete the procedure including the use of small dissolving stitches.
Labiaplasty surgery can greatly enhance the cosmetic appearance of the outer vagina, giving many women greater confidence and self-esteem.
Revirgination (Hymen Repair Surgery)
The hymen is a thin layer of tissue that encloses the vaginal area. The hymen can easily break in many situations of vigorous activities, including intercourse. Revirgination or Hymen repair surgery, also known as hymenoplasty, is a simple procedure that will repair a torn hymen or build a new hymen.
Revirgination Procedure
In women who have a torn hymen, our surgeon, after placing her under local sedation will stitch together the remaining pieces. This will allow the hymen to grow back together as it heals. In women who have no remnants of the hymen remaining, the plastic surgeon will tighten the vaginal entrance and use a small portion of the vaginal tissue to create a new hymen. This constructed hymen is very similar to the natural hymen. The surgery normally takes less than one hour.
Revirgination allows women to tear and bleed the first time they engage in intercourse after surgery, or on their wedding night.
